• Webber, Red Bull dominant in Monaco GP

  Monte Carlo, Monaco (Sports Network) - Mark Webber led all 78 laps to win Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix, while his teammate, Sebastian Vettel, took the second spot to give Red Bull a 1-2 finish on the famed Monte Carlo street circuit.

  It's the second race in a row that Webber led from lights to checkers, as the Australian won last weekend's Spanish Grand Prix.

  Vettel took the second position from Renault's Robert Kubica on the opening lap, and then held it for the remainder of the event, finishing 0.4 seconds behind Webber.

  Kubica finished third, while Felipe Massa from Ferrari and McLaren's Lewis Hamilton rounded out the top-five.

  Webber and Vettel are tied in the drivers' championship standings with 78 points each. Red Bull also took over the top spot in the constructors' title race.

  Jenson Button, the defending world champion and last year's winner at Monaco, was forced out of the race after two laps when his McLaren car suffered mechanical problems. He finished 23rd.
