  • Haynesworth skips conditioning test again

Ashburn, VA (Sports Network) - Washington Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth did not take the team's conditioning test on Tuesday.

Haynesworth has yet to practice since training camp began last week because he has been unable to pass the test, which requires him to complete a series of running drills in an allotted amount of time. He failed the test on Thursday and Friday of last week, then skipped it on Saturday and Sunday because of knee soreness.

On Monday, Haynesworth began the drill but was unable to finish because of the knee issue.

Haynesworth must pass the conditioning test because he did not attend the majority of the team's voluntary offseason programs and skipped the mandatory minicamp in June, due to an objection to his role in the team's new defensive scheme.
