  • Cardinals agree to terms with first-round pick Williams

    Tempe, AZ (Sports Network) - The Arizona Cardinals and defensive tackle Dan Williams, the team's first-round pick in the 2010 draft, have agreed to terms on a five-year contract. Financial terms were not disclosed.

    Williams, the 26th overall selection, started all 13 of Tennessee's games at defensive end in 2009 as a senior. He earned first-team All-SEC honors after recording a career-high 70 tackles (nine for loss), 2 1/2 sacks and nine quarterback pressures.

    In 45 games -- 32 starts -- during his collegiate career, Williams posted 160 tackles (25 for loss) and seven sacks.
