  • Chargers agree to terms with Mathews

    San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - The San Diego Chargers have reportedly agreed to terms with running back Ryan Mathews, the 12th overall pick in the 2010 draft.

    The San Diego Union-Tribune is reporting that the deal is for $26.65 million, with $15 million of it guaranteed.

    He spent his collegiate career at Fresno State and last season posted 1,808 yards and 19 touchdowns.

    Over his time at the school, he finished with 3,280 yards on the ground, second in school in history, and 39 rushing touchdowns, tops in school history.
