Courtesy of Arena Football League Tulsa, OK (Sports Network) - Jacksonville wide receiver JOMO WILSON, Cleveland quarterback JOHN DUTTON and Iowa defensive back JASON SIMPSON have been named the JLS Ironman, Russell Athletic Offensive Player and Riddell Defensive Player of the Week, respectively, for Week 7 of 2010. In addition to these three awards, the AFL is also highlighting the player who makes the best catch of the week, the playmaker of the week, and the highlight of the week. The Cutters Catch of the Week Award for Week 7 goes to Milwaukee wide receiver DAMIAN HARRELL, while Cleveland's wide receiver BEN NELSON has been named the Playmaker of the Week. The highlight of the week award has gone to Milwaukee's quarterback CHRIS GREISEN.

JLS IRONMAN OF THE WEEK Wilson (6-0, 205, Eastern Oregon) was an integral part of the Shark's 70-49 victory over the Dallas Vigilantes in Week 7 action. Wilson caught ten passes for 123 yards and four touchdowns. However, Wilson's major contribution was for the Shark's special teams. In kickoff returns, Wilson broke his season high record with six returns for 141 yards. On the defensive side, Wilson had two tackles.

RUSSELL ATHLETIC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Dutton (6-4, 230, Nevada) had the perfect night when he broke 600 touchdowns and 30,000 yards in the first half in the victory over Tulsa. Dutton also broke his season high yardage and touchdowns with completing 28-of-48 passes for 397 yards and nine touchdowns. The nine touchdowns tied the Gladiator's franchise record and set a new record for the Quicken Loans Arena. For the second week in a row, Dutton had zero interceptions.

RIDDELL DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Simpson (6-1, 198, Missouri) stopped the Chicago Rush's offense with two interceptions and ten unassisted tackles, breaking his previous season high record. He nabbed two of the three interceptions thrown by Chicago QB Russ Michna. Michna's three interceptions were a career-high. Simpson and the defense kept the Rush scoring to a season low of 30 points. His blocked kick in last seconds of the second quarter gave momentum to the Barnstormers, helping to propel them to the win.
