  New York, NY (Sports Network) - Kalana Greene posted 17 points and Plenette Pierson added 16 with eight rebounds as New York downed San Antonio, 77-72.

  Cappie Pondexter scored 13 points and Leilani Mitchell poured in 10 with eight assists for the Liberty, who won for the fifth time in seven games.

  Chamique Holdsclaw had game-highs of 18 points and nine boards for the Silver Stars, who dropped their eighth game in 11 tries. Michelle Snow tallied 14 points, Sophia Young 12 and Becky Hammon 10 in defeat.
