Denver, CO (Sports Network) - San Francisco hit three homers and Jonathan Sanchez tossed six-plus scoreless innings, as the Giants dominated the Colorado Rockies, 10-0, in the opener of a brief two-game series at Coors Field.

Jonathan Sanchez (8-6) allowed just three hits, struck out nine, and walked four to pick up his first win since July 5 for the Giants, who have won four in a row and 10 of 12 overall.

Pat Burrell, Freddy Sanchez, and Andres Torres each homered for San Francisco, which got two RBI from Buster Posey.

Aaron Cook (4-8) got rocked in three innings, giving up five runs on eight hits to suffer his third straight loss for the Rockies, who had a four-game winning streak snapped. The right-hander has been tagged for 15 runs and 23 hits over a combined 9 2/3 innings during his losing streak.
