  • ChiSox outright MacDougal to minors


    Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - The Chicago White Sox have outrighted the contract of pitcher Mike MacDougal to Triple-A Charlotte.

    MacDougal appeared in 16 games for the White Sox last season and did not register a decision while pitching to an earned run average of 2.12. He was also 0-4 with a 3.83 ERA in 38 games with Charlotte.

    The 31-year-old right-hander has a career record of 13-20 with 50 saves and a 4.04 ERA in 257 games, all but three in relief, over eight seasons with the White Sox and Kansas City Royals.
